Présentation
«Get Me to the Wedding» tells the stories of wedding planners in New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago and Toronto as they help couples through the highs and lows of planning the most important day of their lives. Celebrating the modern wedding from the point of view of the professional wedding planner, each episode features one distinctive wedding, with its own cast of characters including the planner and her team of vendors, the bride and groom, family and friends.
Shot in cinema-verite style, «Get Me to the Wedding» captures the behind-the-scenes effort the planner makes to stage-manage what is at once both a theatrical event and a deeply profound personal experience, while also chronicling the choices, values and dreams of the bride and groom. «Get Me to the Wedding» lifts the veil on the logistical challenges, tough decisions, and beautiful details leading up to the big day – with all its stresses, excitement, tears and laughter.
